WIC INCOME GUIDELINES AND QUALIFICATIONS
To qualify for WIC benefits, applicants must meet criteria in 3 areas:
- Be in one of the following categories:
- A pregnant woman
- A woman who was pregnant within the past 6 months
- A woman who is breastfeeding a baby under 1 year of age
- A baby or child from birth to his or her fifth birthday**
**Babies and children cared for by either: a single father, grandparent, foster parent, step-parent, or guardian of the child will be eligible to receive benefits.
- Meet income guidelines. Families who receive Medi-Cal, SNAP aka Cal-Fresh, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (also known as CALWORKs) OR Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) are automatically income-eligible.
- Live in California

Step 2: Schedule an Appointment
If it appears you may qualify for WIC, our WIC representative will schedule an enrollment appointment for you at one of our offices.
